Areas of Focus
There are many reasons people come to therapy. Together, we’ll focus on what’s bringing you here and what you’d like to be different.
Trauma & PTSD
Past experiences can continue to affect how you feel, relate to others, and move through the world. I work with individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, sexual trauma, relationship trauma, and other distressing experiences, with an emphasis on safety and healing at your own pace.
ANXIETY & DEPRESSION
Anxiety and depression can show up in many ways—from persistent worry and self-doubt to feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. Together, we can explore what may be contributing to these feelings and develop ways to cope that feel manageable and sustainable.
RELATIONSHIPS
Relationships with others—and with ourselves—can be complicated. Therapy can help you better understand relationship patterns, strengthen boundaries, build self-esteem, and develop healthier ways of connecting with yourself and others.
LIFE TRANSITIONS
Changes in relationships, school, career, family, or identity can leave you feeling uncertain or overwhelmed, even when the change is something you chose. Therapy can provide space to process these transitions and find greater clarity as you move forward.
YOUNG ADULTS
College and young adulthood can bring unique pressures around academics, relationships, identity, family expectations, independence, and figuring out what comes next. My work at UPenn CAPS helped shape my particular passion for supporting clients during this stage of life.
MULTICULTURAL COUNSELING
Culture and identity can influence how we understand ourselves, our relationships, and the expectations we carry. I have extensive experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including South Asian clients navigating cultural identity, family dynamics, relationships, and the intersection of different parts of themselves.
